C-SPAN lands YouTube TV and Hulu carriage, ending a costly streaming blackout

C-SPAN struck deals with YouTube TV and Hulu + Live TV to carry its three networks, closing a major gap created by cord-cutting. The services will pay the same 87 cents per subscriber per year as cable and satellite. Congress had urged the companies to add C-SPAN amid concerns over reduced political access. YouTube will also sponsor America 250 coverage and boost C-SPAN’s presence on the YouTube platform.
